RYAN HAMILTON was recently named one of Rolling Stone magazine’s ‘Five Comics to Watch’ and appeared at Montreal’s prestigious Just For Laughs festival where he was named MVP of the Comedy Leagues competition as part of the New York City team. He made his national TV debut when he appeared on Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham followed by two seasons of NBC’s Last Comic Standing, both times as a semi-finalist. Previously, he won Sierra Mist’s ‘America’s Next Great Comic’ Search and was a finalist at the Boston Comedy Festival competition and appeared at HBO’s Las Vegas Comedy Festival as an up-and-coming talent.
He’s a regular guest on the nationally syndicated Bob and Tom radio show and is a favorite headliner in many of the country’s top comedy clubs.
ROB CANTRELL lives in Brooklyn and enjoys ice tea mixed with lemon-aid. He performs around the world making people laugh, most recently as a member of The Marijuana- logues touring play, at the Bonnaro Music Festival and at the Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam this past year. Cantrell has been seen on CBS’s Late Late Show, Comedy Central’s Tough Crowd and as a Top 10 Finalist on the first season of NBC’sLast Comic Standing. LOUIS KATZ was born and raised in Los Angeles. His comedy career began at the incredibly early age of 9 when as part of a school project he submitted several jokes to “The Tonight Show,” two of which were read on air by Johnny Carson. After graduating from UC Berkeley, he began performing stand-up throughout the Bay Area and quickly made a name for himself. He is now a professional comedian based in New York who can be seen at clubs and colleges across the country.
Louis has performed at the Montreal “Just for Laughs” Comedy Festival, the Atlanta “Laffapalooza” Comedy Festival, the Amsterdam “Toomler International” Comedy Festival and the Vancouver Comedy Festival. He has appeared on NBC’s “Last Call with Carson Daly,” Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham,” Jamie Foxx’s “America’s Funniest Comics,” and HBO’s “Down & Dirty w/Jim Norton.” Louis also produced a series of short films for Adult Swim’s superdeluxe.com, which can now be seen at
SARA SCHAEFER is a comedian living in New York City. She is currently the head blogger for Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, for which she recently won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Creative Achievement for Interactive Media. Prior to joining Late Night she was an editor for BestWeekEver.tv and hosted AOL/Spinner’s on-line show, The DL. She has been featured in New York Magazine, YRB Magazine, Backstage, New York Post, and more. In 2007 she was a featured performer at the HBO Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado. Earlier, she received critical acclaim for her live show, “Sara Schaefer is Obsessed with You,” for which she won an ECNY Award for Best Host. She regularly performs all over the city and hosts a weekly comedy show at The Bell House called Get Off Your Knees. Sara is originally from Richmond, Virginia and attended the College of William & Mary.
PHIL HANLEY, winner of Vancouver’s Funniest Comic in
2007, currently resides in New York and performs all over
North American. Don’t let his demeanor (or enthusiasm
for knitwear) fool you, his style is unpredictably reflective,
delivered with sharp accuracy, and rooted in the grand
tradition of joke-telling. Philís performances at The
2008 Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal brought him
international acclaim and his jokes were recognized in the
Montreal Gazetteís annual “Best jokes of the Festival”. He
was also named one of the five comics creating a buzz
by The Hollywood Reporter and rewarded with a featured
segment on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Philís other
credits include appearances at the Halifax Comedy Festival,
Globalís Vancouver International Comedy Fest, CBC
and XFM satellite radio, and his own critically acclaimed
television special on the Comedy Network (Canadaís
Comedy Central).
